MGAC Legal Aid

Do you want to see Economic Empowerment applicants and small businesses succeed in Massachusetts? The Massachusetts Grower Advocacy Council is asking for your support as we take the argument over the CCC's decision not to review Host Community Agreements to the courts.
Too many of the HCA's in existence today are acts of either bribery or extortion. This squeezes out Economic Empowerment and any other small business by way of throwing cash at a municipality via extortion or bribery. Help us stop this unfair situation, and support our legal efforts. Even $5 helps!

About MGAC

The Massachusetts Grower Advocacy Council works towards responsible legislation surrounding the medical and personal growing, processing and innovating community.

The Massachusetts Grower Advocacy Council purpose is twofold:

  1. Working with local and state governmental bodies to ensure the social welfare of commercial cannabis cultivators, home cannabis cultivators, medical cannabis patients, medical cannabis caregivers, craft cultivators, processors, breeders, or any other trade relative to cannabis growing, and the general public
  2. Developing and implementing laws, policies, and regulations related to cannabis cultivation whether medical or adult use that will ensure public safety and the development of a diverse cannabis economy that is built on a culture of innovation and reasonable standards.

We want to help ensure a diverse industry for large and small grows alike, to help the consumer have the best choice and variety, and the best possible quality standards.

The Corporation will conduct such other activities and programs in furtherance of the foregoing purposes as may be carried out by a corporation organized under the Massachusetts General Laws chapter 180 and under Section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Corporation will not engage in any activity that requires registration with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
